Silence
Sometimes silence is the best weapon. Other times however to be silent is to be defeated! I heard recently not to allow the prophetic voice in me to be silenced. I understood it today. My weapon is the word of God - SPOKEN! If I allow doubt, fear, weariness and what I see with my natural eyes to push me down and silence me I have been defeated already. I will not see what God has promised me and I will fall further into dispare. Rise up! Do not be silent. When it is so very hard to even lift your voice to a whisper, SHOUT your declarations according to the word of God given to you. Do not let the enemy win. Do not let the enemy tie you down by putting a gag over your mouth. He will try to take your stuff while you are bound. Break free from his oppression and lies by using your voice to prophecy into your situation. Prophecy over your people. In other words declare the word of the Lord over them and watch the enemy be defeated right before you very eyes! Watch the salvaton of the Lord come to your rescue. Watch the impossible turn into reality. Believe for the unexpected. Believe for the completely impossible and uterly ridiculous. Pick up your sword; the word of God and cut the enemy's head off with it.
God's word can be His words already written in the Bible; they can be words He has spoken to you through others, or to you personally. Whatever word you declare make sure it is the word that God is bringing to your heart to speak at that moment. When you know what word it is, and begin to speak it, a sense of authority and fight will rise up within you and you will again be able to believe and reach for that which God said He is doing. His word spoken out of His mouth is just as powerful as His word spoken out of your mouth. So do not be silent any longer!
Believing is not a feeling. It is a desicion. If you are a Christian your decision to believe what God said is based on your belief and confidence in God, not man and definitely not on how you feel. When you place your confidence in God it is much easier to fight the enemy because you do not have to play the, "Does he know I'm having a hard time believing such and such is going to happen?," game. You don't have to worry if he is going to, "call your bluff" so to speak. I'm sure you've heard it said that a dog knows if you are afraid of him or not. You can act as strong and unthreatened as you want, but somehow that dog can sense that you are afraid, and fear gives him the upper hand. Fear is faith in the power of the enemy to get you. Don't give the enemy the upper hand. Turn things around on him. Place your confidence; your faith in God and who He is. Then you can go head to head with the enemy in full confidence, with out fear, packed with determination, knowing what is yours and slice him in half, leaving him where he already is - DEFEATED! When we fight the enemy we come at him in the mighty, all powerful, name of the Lord Most High, speaking the words of the One with all authority, and standing beside the all knowing King we remind Satan that he has already lost. How dare he would go after the word of God to kill it. Say to the enemy with me, "I will not have it! My God, your creator gave it to me and neither you nor any demon in hell is going to take it away from me. Today devil I cut your head off! My promise is mine! I believe the word of my God." Now do it. Go cut the devil's head off with your own declarations!
